4. The Self-Check Service

If you use the Site's self-check feature to request a personal background check, you will be asked to provide personal information, including your name, phone number, email address, and physical address, before being directed to complete payment and order processing. By submitting this information, you consent to its collection and use as described in our Privacy Policy. Completion of a self-check order is also subject to the terms of our Service Agreement, described in Section 6 below.

5. No Warranty

The Site and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Information on the Site, including pricing and service descriptions, is provided for general informational purposes and is subject to change without notice.

6. Relationship to Our Service Agreement

These Terms govern your use of this Site only. If you register for an account to order background checks through our screening platform, that relationship is governed separately by our Service Agreement for Employment Screening Services, which you will be asked to accept at the time of registration. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the Service Agreement regarding the ordering or delivery of background check services, the Service Agreement governs.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Perfect Fit Background Checks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Site shall not exceed the amount, if any, you paid us for services accessed through the Site.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party site. Visiting a linked site is at your own risk.
